Initiative for Skill Acquisition and Humanitarian Aid (ISAHA)

Initiative for Skill Acquisition and Humanitarian Aid (ISAHA) is an independent, non-governmental and nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy and activities that promote literacy, and provides platforms for human empowerment and humanitarian intervention, targeting disadvantaged individuals, groups and communities.

Skill acquisition empowers vulnerable individuals by equipping them with the necessary tools to improve their lives and become self-reliant. It enhances their self-confidence and gives them a sense of control over their circumstances.

Skills act as a stepping stone towards employment. By equipping vulnerable individuals with relevant skills, they can improve their chances of finding stable and decent work. This not only provides financial security but also contributes to their overall well-being and helps in breaking the cycle of poverty.

Skill development promotes social inclusion by providing vulnerable individuals with opportunities to actively participate and contribute to society. It helps them integrate into mainstream society, reduces the stigma associated with vulnerability, and provides a sense of belonging.

Acquiring skills can significantly reduce the vulnerability of individuals, as it equips them with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges. By acquiring skills that are in demand in the job market, individuals become less susceptible to various forms of exploitation and abuse.

Skills develop resilience by enabling vulnerable individuals to withstand and recover from adverse situations. They provide individuals with the necessary abilities to solve problems, make informed decisions, and navigate difficult circumstances, thereby reducing their dependence on external support systems.

Skill development promotes social inclusion by providing vulnerable individuals with opportunities to actively participate and contribute to society. It helps them integrate into mainstream society, reduces the stigma associated with vulnerability, and provides a sense of belonging.
